In de hele wereld zijn er dieren besmet geraakt met het coronavirus, maar ZOO Antwerpen en ZOO Planckendael mogen opgelucht ademhalen. Wetenschappers van Universiteit Antwerpen onderzochten 1.116 stalen van alle zoogdieren uit deze twee Vlaamse dierentuinen en die bleken allemaal negatief. “De resultaten zijn een bijzonder goede zaak voor onze dierentuinen, die zich streng aan de coronamaatregelen houden”, reageert Herwig Leirs, professor Biologie en voorzitter van de raad van bestuur van ZOO Antwerpen en ZOO Planckendael. On Saturday 26th of October, after 5 months of training, 73 of our colleagues from around the world challenged themselves to complete a full olympic triathlon. For most of them, the first one in their lives! The Win4Youth program is a life-changing initiative that encourages our colleagues, partners and associates to live a healthier life, to get out of their comfort zone and all for a good cause: helping underserved populations through our Adecco Group foundation. We are celebrating our 10th anniversary 🏊‍♀️🚴‍♂️🏃‍♀️We want to thank all the Ambassadors for their courage to embark on this journey with us! From the starting line to the finish, this triathlon was fueled with team support, resilience, and a huge sense of accomplishment. You should all proud of yourselves.
